Michael Jordan's University of North Carolina alma mater inspires this upcoming release of the Air Jordan 1 Retro Mid.

The shoe that started it all for MJ returns in traditional form 2013, utilizing a full smooth leather build and a classic rubber sole down below. A combination of white and university blue helps bring to life the UNC inspiration throughout the upper, while the two colors come together once more on the AJ I sole sitting below.

The White/University Blue Air Jordan 1 Retro Mid is expected to hit select Jordan brand accounts in February.
